Girlfriends

Mom-mom and I went to the park yesterday to meet up with my friend Ella and her mommy. It was nice to see them both. Ella has gotten big like me! Here are a few pictures of us playing at Mission Bay.

Farmer Jake

Mom-mom's got me working today! We're getting the chicken coop ready for the chickies. They are getting big fast and mom-mom wants them to live outside instead of in her office.

Here's a picture of our chicken coop. Look what a good job daddy and I did on building it! Mom-mom painted it...I had to go in and inspect everything. I brought my wagon along in case anything needed to be hauled around. Notice the SoCal farming outfit I'm wearing...maybe I need some overalls?

Bed Head

Helllloooooo!

I hope everybody had a good weekend. I got to play at Grandma and Grandpa Ken's house on Saturday, and yesterday I helped daddy build a chicken coop! It is pretty nice, and I'll ask mom-mom to take some pictures of it later today in case you want to see!

Mom-mom came in and woke me up at 10:00 this morning. Daddy and I must have worked very hard yesterday, because I just slept for 15 hours straight. Look at my hair - can you tell?

And you'll be seeing a LOT of pictures of me like this one...as soon as I see a camera flash, I put on a "smile" and pose! We'll try to put up some more pictures later...Happy Monday!

If you're cute and you know it....

Happy Friday! Sorry we didn't post anything yesterday. Me and mom-mom went to the zoo with our friend Megan. We saw lots and lots of animals. I liked running around with the goats in the petting zoo the best! Mom-mom said dad would be very mad if we got our own goats, though...

Here are a few pictures of me being silly this morning when I was eating my breakfast. I am a much nicer boy when I sleep in a little bit. No tantrums for me this morning!

I can cluck like a chicken!

I have been talking to the baby chicks all morning. I was telling them all about Barney, and Baby Einstein and all of the fun toys that I have outside. I'm not sure if they understand me.

And to Aunt Lindsay - Mom-mom told me that I'm getting a girl cousin! I don't know what a cousin is, but mom-mom sure seems excited about it so I am, too! She told me that this girl will be cute and that I will get to play with her and love her. I'm thinking a cousin must be something like a puppy...

The Girls are here!

The girls have arrived! Mom-mom and I went to the post office this morning to pick up our new pets. They brought out a peeping, chirping box and I was going crazy trying to figure out what was in it. Mom-mom opened it up as soon as we got home, and we found three fluffy little chickies! They are very cute and are already playing around in their food dish.

Unfortunately, I have already moved on to other activities, so mom-mom did not get a picture of me with the girls. I will pose later.

Watching Barney

Mom-mom was trying to get video of me being silly this morning. I was WAY too busy. I mean, BARNEY was on. It's kind of like when daddy is watching tv - he can't hear mom-mom talk, either.

I hope you all had a good weekend! Mom-mom and I are going to try to find a feed store today to get some food for our baby chicks that wil be arriving this week. Yes, we will have chickens. Yes, mom-mom has thought this through. Yes, it is legal. No, we will not have roosters. Yes, she is tired of people asking her if she is crazy. And no, she doesn't know what the dogs will think, but is not worried about it since they are dogs.

Breakfast in Bed

I have been waking up extraordinarily early lately, and I have been expecting a breakfast to be served to me immediately. This is thanks in part to Gramma Jojo getting me up before my normal time and cooking me good breakfast every morning while she was here. I now have mom-mom and dada trained, too!

Here is a picture of the scene in our house in the morning. I gather up all of my friends, grab a bowl of Froot Loops and a cup of milk, and yell til mom-mom turns on cartoons. Then , we all cuddle up and start the day off together!

Mom-mom wonders if you can imagine the amount of fur and crumbs that this routine creates in her bed. I think it's a small price to pay to have such cute, cuddly creatures in there with her!

I will be sleeping over at Grandma and Grandpa Holko's house tonight. Mom-mom and dada are going out to dinner and then they are going to meet up with Uncle Brett downtown. And THEY AREN'T TAKING ME!?! I'll probably have a better time eating popcorn with Grandpa anyways...

Shots, Ice Cream and Playing at the Park

Yesterday was a busy day. Mom-mom and I went to the doctor for my 18-month check-up. The doctor told mom-mom that I am just as perfect as she thinks I am. My height and weight are just where they should be. My giant Charlie Brown head is still larger than 97% of other kids my age. Mom-mom said it means I have a big brain - whatever that means. The doctor even said that I was REALLY good during my exam. She said most 18-month visits are scream fests. I didn't cry at all, not even when the nurse gave me the shot. I guess since it was only one I didn't have time to get scared about another one.

After my doctor visit, mom-mom and I went out and got some ice cream. I really like ice cream a lot, and it sure did make me feel better about going to the doctor.

Then we went to the park to play for a little while. Here is a video of me going down the slide. If you listen closely, you'll hear me do a countdown before I take off!

Reading Books

Mom-mom and I were up very early this morning reading books and eating Froot Loops. I have a bit of a cold and couldn't sleep very well, so mommy let me sleep in bed with her. I slept great! It's amazing how well a sick boy can sleep when his feet are on his mommy's face all night.

But don't worry...I'm not that sick. I just have a runny nose. We are off to my music class now, and then later this afternoon I have to go to the doctor for my 18 month check-up. Mommy said I was going to get shot. I'm not sure about this...

A day at the park

Mommy got me a new wagon - it's pretty cool. We packed all of our picnic stuff in it, and packed me in, too!

Gramma Jojo played soccer with me at the park. She's pretty quick (for a gramma!).

It's hot outside!

It is HOT again today, so me and Gramma Jojo are playing in my pool to cool off. Here are a few pictures of me all wet!

This afternoon we are going to go to the park and have a picnic. Daddy and Grandma Susan and Grandpa Ken are going to meet us there. There is a concert and lots of room for me to run around. I think I'll like it...

Last night mommy and Gramma Jojo went out for dinner - WITHOUT ME! Can you believe this?!? Well, I guess they enjoyed the time together, and I got to stay home with daddy, so it wasn't too bad. We took a few pictures before they left. So...here are the PODs!

Day at the Beach

Yesterday, we went to the beach! Gramma went surfing, I hung out with a few Brazilian bikini models, tried snorkeling...

Unfortunately, mommy didn't get pictures of those things. She did, however, get a few shots of me enjoying the day with Gramma at the beach.

Weekend Wedding

Hellooooo!

We are very busy playing with Gramma Jojo, so all I have are a few pictures from the wedding I went to on Saturday. I will put up some pictures with Jojo a little later!

We had a really nice picnic yesterday with Grandma Susan and Grandpa Ken, Sarah and Darren. Gramma Jojo made some really tasty food and we played outside all afternoon. I have to go now - Gramma is taking me to the park to play!

Yay for the weekend!

I am so happy to have my daddy home today. We went out and got some breakfast and then we went to the store with mommy. Me and daddy don't like going to the store so much, so mommy dropped us off at the park while she finished her shopping. I got to show daddy how I am really good at going down the slide...all by myself! I am getting to be such a big boy.
