but more important that me wearing excessive make-up, Kelly is having her baby today!!! Me and mom-mom are SO excited for her and we can't wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl! We love you Kelly!

And here's the best news of all, we get to come to Buffalo tomorrow to see everybody! We will finally get to meet baby Carleigh, and we'll get to meet baby Kelly, too. And see all of my favorite Buffalo family! What an exciting trip it will be!

And after all that excitement, I needed a break. Good thing there are lots of benches in downtown La Jolla!

Aunt Candy will be back at our house on Sunday. I'm sure we'll have another adventure with her then!

My Uncle Mick

I had a GREAT visit with my Uncle Mick. We did lots of fun stuff together. It sure was nice to have some special time with him, and my mom-mom enjoyed it, too!

Here are some pictures from our trip to the Zoo.




We also went to the beach! It was too hot at our house so we packed up some toys and headed down to Mission Beach. It was nice to play in the water with Uncle Mick. I got very brave and even went down to the water by myself. Check me out - I did this for about an hour!

I think he likes me...

I was SO SAD when Uncle Mick left. I am always sad when people leave, but I was really inconsolable this time. I cried all the way from the airport to the park. I'm figuring out that dropping people off at the airport is not nearly as much fun as picking them up...

But here's the good news! We went back to the airport in the afternoon and picked up Aunt Candy!!! So now we have another visitor in the house, and this is great. Visitors bring me candy and presents and do whatever I want! I showed Candy my chickens this morning, we played on the slide, we played trains, read books, ate waffles, and talked a LOT. So much fun!

Uncle Mick is here! I am having such a fun time playing with him...and I KNOW he is having fun with me. I am pretty good at making him laugh.

Some mornings, I am all about having my picture taken. Other mornings, I am not so into it. As you will see here, I am very easily distracted.

Me and mom-mom are pretty excited today. In just about an hour, we're going to head off to the airport to pick up Uncle Mick! We are so excited to have him visit us. And the weather is supposed to be just perfect, too! We'll post some pics with him tomorrow...

Busy Bear

Me and mom-mom are on our way out the door! We are going to go play with Jack and his mommy at the park and then I'm off to Grandma and Grandpa's for a sleepover. Doesn't that sound like a fun day?

So Much Candy

It's amazing that I could go to sleep last night. I had a LOT of candy this weekend. On Saturday, we went to a party with some family here in san Diego. There were lots of little kids and a big Easter Egg hunt. I did great, and got lots of fun treats. It sure was fun to run around with a bunch of other little boys! Mom-mom made some Easter Bunny cupcakes to take along.

Then, when I got up yesterday morning, Mom-mom and Daddy went outside with me to check out my plum tree. You won't believe this, but there was a present hanging in my tree! There was even a note from the Easter Bunny!!!


Daddy read it to me and then we started the search for my Easter basket. I found it in no time, thanks in part to Chewy and Obi's help in sniffing it out. I got my own Easter Bunny, a chocolate rabbit, and lots of jelly beans! Yummy!

And you might think that an Easter Basket full of candy would be enough for a small boy, but as soon as Mom-mom turned her back...
I stuffed as much candy in my mouth as possible and gave the cutest smile I could (considering the number of jelly beans in there). And mom-mom and dady didn't even yell at me!

After all of that morning excitement, we had a wonderful brunch with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Sarah. I even got to have another Egg Hunt! We had a really nice time together. Uncle Brett and Kim came over later and brought me another Easter basket. This one was great and had tons of Thomas stuff in it! And then, Ali and Danielle came over later, too! We played outside in the yard til mom-mom made me take a bath and go to bed. What a weekend!

I hope you all had a great Easter. We are very thankful for the friends and family that we got to see, and we miss all of those we couldn't be with. Love you all!

I'm pretty excited about my weekend. There is an Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow, and I think I'll do really good since I've had some practice. And THEN, Mom-mom said that the Easter Bunny will COME TO MY HOUSE ON SUNDAY!!! This is very exciting news. I've been spotting him on TV all week and I can't wait to see what he brings me. It sure is fun being TWO!

Something in There

Mom-mom went to the doctor on Tuesday, and it's official, there is something in her belly. She told me this was a picture of a tiny baby. I'm not really convinced but I'm going along with the idea for now.


And of course, here's a picture of me. We're in kind of a hurry, so this picture is actually from the weekend. It's me with my little friend Bella. Isn't she so cute?

I'm Cute

I've been making an announcement quite regularly lately. I announced this to Grandma Susan when she was changing my diaper the other day. I announce it to mom-mom about 40 times a day, with comedic timing...like right after I smashed one of her clay pots this morning, or when I had a mouthful of dog food...

You might be thinking to yourself, "What is this announcement?" Here it is (plus some other nonsense morning antics):

I'm going to Grandma Susan's house this morning. Mom-mom has to go to the doctor today to find out how our baby is doing. We'll report more tomorrow!

Egg Hunts and Easter Bunnies

Saturday morning we went to daddy's work for an Easter gg hunt1 I did way better than last year. I even ran to get eggs! The Easter Bunny held my hand for a little while, too.

I was brave enough to go right up to the bunny once I knew he had a basket of candy.

Mom-mom doesn't like to have her picture taken at all.

What a fun way to spend a Saturday morning! Mom-mom said that the Easter Bunny will be coming to our house next weekend. I am already very excited about this. Easter Bunnies = CANDY!

Noses

Mom-mom and I are taking it easy today...not so much because I don't feel good, but because mom-mom doesn't feel so good today. So, we get to stay in our pajamas all day! AND, we get to watch tv, too!

We just watched Sesame Street. My favorite part of the show is "Elmo's World." Everyone loves Elmo. Today we learned all about noses. Here is a video of me singing the "Noses" song...

Riding Bikes

Guess what I can do? I can ride my bike! I'm getting pretty good at it, too.

Sometimes mom-mom has to help me a little bit with the whole steering thing, but I'll have it mastered before you know it!


We'll get some video of this later, but right now me and mom-mom are getting ready to go over to grampa's house. He offered to watch me and I hope he meant it!
