Grampa mike

What I Do

Did you ever wonder what it is I DO all day?

Well, it mostly falls into two categories.

1. Eating candy (includes foraging, sneaking, stealing, etc.)

2. Bothering Jacob (goes both ways because he totally bothers me, too)

Here are a few examples:

Me, proudly displaying to Mom that I was persistent enough to find the candy that she put up in the high cabinets.

I'm not even gonna pretend to look sorry.

And here I am, pretending to watch tv. In reality, I'm plotting my next move.

Since there was no candy around, let's bother Jacob!

What? He's laughing.

I'll let you guess how many minutes it took to go from candy eating to fighting...

But check out these HUGE gummy bears! Thanks, Aunt Sarah!

Love,
R

5 Years Old!

Yeah, I'm five.

I'm a pretty big deal, you know.

Wednesday was a great day. Here are the highlights:

1. Waking up to have chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast.

2. Going to the Zoo. With Grampa Mike!

3. Monster Truck cake. (Mom didn't take a picture of it. She didn't think this one compared to last year's El Toro Loco cake. I thought it was awesome because I got five new monser trucks out of it.)

Ryan liked it, too.

4. Surprise presents from Gramma Jojo, Aunt Candy and Aunt Becky! Mom let me open these up before the party. You guys sure do know how to make a guy happy. I'm actually playing with the "Perplexus" game as mom types this...

 5. New skateboard. New helmet. New wrist guards, knee and elbow pads.

6. NEW BIKE. (I've also been practicing riding without training wheels. More on that as it progresses.)

Oops. I guess we didn't get a chance to take a picture of this. I pulled Uncle Brett outside for a few laps around the block immediately.

7. Lots of my favorite people here to celebrate with me.

It was a really great day. Thank you to everyone who helped to make me feel so special.

And now today...

Mom and I noticed it was pretty quiet. I'm old enough to know that when Ryan is quiet, he's probably doing something sneaky.

Sure enough, he found my box of Nerds from Gramma Jojo (they were in a cabinet somewhere), ripped them open and plunked himself down to watch SpongeBob.

He doesn't even try to look sorry.

Have a great weekend!

Love,
The 5 year old
