I am SO smart

I impressed mom-mom this morning. Nevermind that she is impressed with just about everything that I do...this one is pretty good. I do it better when I'm not on camera, but still...I'm not even two yet!

And do you know that it's only 30 days til I get there for Christmas?!? Very exciting. Mom-mom said that tomorrow is Thanksgiving and that means the holiday season is officially here. Yay!

I'm helping mom-mom make pies today. And I am a HUGE help.

Can I go, too?

I heard my Uncle Brian just got back from caribou hunting...I wonder if he will take me hunting with him when I come to visit? I think I have all the right gear...If it's cold, I can wear my Carhartt jacket!

We are getting very excited to come home and see everybody for Christmas! And yes, mom-mom remembers that the temperature in Buffalo gets below 60 sometimes. She got me some warm boots for playing in the snow, and I have a couple of nice warm jackets all dusted off and ready for the trip.

Mom-mom and I are off to do a little Christmas shopping and grocery shopping for Thanksgiving. Yay holidays!

Chilly Morning

Yeah, yeah...we know it's not nearly as "chilly" here as it is in some other parts of the world, but for our thin California blood a temperature of 62 degrees in the house feels really cold! Me and mom-mom had some hot cocoa and snuggled up on the couch to watch some cartoons this morning. We may stay here all day.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend! Mom-mom decided that it's starting to feel like holiday time, and she's a little bit excited for it this year. I think our house might look a little bit like the Griswolds' this year since she can blame her enthusiasm on me!

Play at the Bay

It was very hot here this weekend, so mom-mom, daddy and I went to the bay to play on Saturday. Here are a few pictures from our day!





As you can see, I was VERY tired by the time we left. Good thing I had a wagon to ride in!

Mom-mom was trying to get some good pictures or videos up here this morning, but I'm just not into it today. I'm watching my shows. Bob the Builder, Jack's Big Music Show, and Thomas are my current favorites.

So, since I couldn't tear myself away from the tv, YOU get to watch me, watching tv. Very exciting.

Mom-mom and I are going out to play with some friends today. I'm sure I'll have a good day, and I hope you do, too!

The Zoo

Daddy was off from work on Friday so we went on a trip to the Zoo. It was a beautiful day and we got to see LOTS of animals. Mom-mom took a lot of pictures, but once she got home and looked through them, she realized that they were mostly of just one animal. Luckily, it was a cute, sweet animal!

Here's me on the aerial tram that I LOVE to ride! I wasn't scared at all!

And here's me and daddy discussing the next exhibit we should go see.I decided PANDAS! Daddy was not super-excited about pandas...We got to see gorillas running around their area. Boy, they sure are big!And then I got tired. Walking through the monkeys was just too tiring for me. So, instead of getting cranky and crying like little kids are supposed to, I told mom-mom and daddy I wanted to "sit down" and then go "night-night." And so I did.
My little nap revived my energy, and then I tried acting like a monkey. My arms are pretty strong, but not quite enough to get me into the monkey cage, thank god!

I was such a good boy and daddy was really impressed with me.

FEET!

So one of my favorite words to say is FEET. Yesterday mom-mom was folding laundry and I kept yelling "FEET!" at her. Silly mom-mom didn't understand what I was talking about and kept telling me that yes, I had nice feet.

Well, she finally figured out what I was yelling about. She had washed my Halloween costume, and I saw what I wanted in the laundry basket!

Daddy is home with us today and we're headed to the zoo! Mom-mom might even remember her camera this time and get some pictures of me at the zoo...

Yes, it's me. Jumping on the bed. I'm getting pretty good at it, too. Check me out! Mom-mom lets me do it. She said I can jump on beds til I am too heavy. I'm not sure what that means, since she still sometimes jumps with me!

P.S. - Trick-or-treating was so much fun!!! By the third or fourth house, I had it all figured out! I was yelling "Happy Halloween" to everybody and running up to doors. I am not even sure what people were giving me, but it sure was fun to go see all of those people! I think I'll do it again tonight...
