The Frog Prince

Today we had our Halloween Parade at school. I was VERY excited about this in the morning. We packed up my costume and headed out.

Mom-mom, Grandma Susan and Grandpa Ken came to school to watch the parade. I think they liked it.

Here I am!"Hey, check out my feet!"

"What, mom? Can't hear you. I'm a FROG."

"So, are they just gonna stay like that, then? Because I'm OK with that."

Miss Ali must be magic to get this many two year olds to sit nicely.

There was a lady at the school carrying around a little baby girl. I asked Mom-mom three times if it was Baby Carleigh. I miss her. And Uncle Brian and and Lindsay, too. We had such a fun time while they were visiting. I'm glad that Mom-mom told me we will see them again soon when we go to Buffalo.

Oh, and about this whole school thing...on Tuesday, Mom-mom was late picking me up because of traffic. She was very worried that I would be sad when she got there. All of the other kids eat lunch at noon, and I had no lunch. Well, she walked into the room and all of us were sitting down at the tables, lunchboxes out in from of those who had them. I was just sitting there at the end of the table like a good boy. I didn't even jump up when I saw Mom. I waved. She came over and asked me if I wanted to go home and get lunch.

I told her, "Nope, I'll just stay here and eat the snack."

Tomorrow morning, we get to go and pick Daddy up from the airport. We've missed him this week. Our big plan for the day? We're making Halloween cookies! Yummy.

This morning we went to a pumpkin patch. You would never know it since we forgot to take pictures with the pumpkins, but we did get some other cute shots...

Video Friday

Yesterday was a fun day with Carleigh. Uncle Bri and Aunt Lindsay went on a little trip and Carleigh stayed with us. She helped drop me off at school and then she and mom-mom went shopping for "girl stuff." Apparently that means clothes...

We spent the whole afternoon together playing with toys. I am pretty good at sharing most of them...It's a little tough to let her play with my firetruck, though.

Here's a clip mom-mom sent to Aunt Lindsay last night to show her that Carleigh and I are getting along just fine. I think I'll be OK at this big brother stuff.

And here I am dancing on the couch to the "Mighty Machines" theme. Just because.

Oh, and mom-mom saiid we can't forget about the other kid here. This is about all he can do right now, though....

Mom-mom, Carleigh, and I will be home playing together today. Mom-mom was feeling pretty good about getting us to nap together yesterday, but she's not sure she is up to taking us out on an adventure.

Look Who's Here!

Yesterday when mom-mom picked me up from school (another good day!), there were some very special people in the car with her. Uncle Brian, Aunt Lindsay, and Baby Carleigh are here!

We had a fun afternoon playing with all of my toys. I was nice to carleigh and shared my things...even some of my engines. Uncle Bri and Aunt Lindsay are really good tower builders, too. We've built LOTS so far!

So Cal Sledding

It snowed in Buffalo today.

It was 97 degrees when we left the Pumpkin Patch farm this afternoon in San Diego.

There was a "sledding" hill at the farm. Hmm...

This is what sledding in Southern California looks like...







Thought Mom-mom had to admit, I was a natural at this whole sledding down the hill thing. Must be a little bit of Buffalo in my blood!

Other than being waaaay too hot, we had a good time at the farm this morning. We met Jack and his mommy, and a few other mommies there, too.

Hopefully it will cool off a bit tomorrow so we can have another fun weekend.

Caught Counting

Mom-mom knows I learned a song like this in school. I was singing it as I "picked" my fruit snacks.

And by the way, not only did I not cry when Mom-mom dropped me off at school I didn't cry AT ALL. This is a first. Mom-mom and my teacher were both very, very happy.

New Tracks!

Mom-mom was at the store the other day and made a great find.  Thomas stuff was on clearance!  So, she bought me a big new bridge and some bumpy tracks.  She told me that she should have saved them for Christmas, but figured we'd have fun playing with them now.

 

We set up a big track in the living room, and daddy liked it so much he didn't want us to put it away.  it's been there all weekend.

I had another nice weekend.  It was cool outside, which means that mom-mom will actually cook dinner for us.  Daddy made us another pumpkin pie, too!

Since it's beautiful and cloudy out again today, we're thinkin' it's another PJ day.  We've had a LOT of those recently!
