Daddy was playing the Overthe Line Tournament on Fiesta Island ALL day, so mom-mom and I had to get up early and take the jackhammer back to the shop. THAT was fun! The nice man there let me check out all of the equipment and even offered me a job.
Since it was still pretty early and really nice out, we decided we didn't really want to just go and sit at home. So, we picked up some breakfast and headed to the Zoo! What a great Zoo day it was. We got there just before the gates opened. We walked right in and headed away from traffic and over to the new elephant exhibit. On the way, I got to pet a donkey! His name is Balboa and he was very soft. He and his friend were just walking around the Zoo with their trainers. Then we got the the Elephant Odyssey. It's awesome. Mom-mom hadn't been there before, so I showed her all around. They even have a bulldozer to play with. We saw elephants, and then we saw the coolest thing EVER. They fed the lions right in front of us! So cool!
By then it was gettign really hot out, so we rode the Skyfari back to the entrance. I LOVE riding in those cars!
We had some lunch and a drink and then we headed home. Since it was SO hot at our house, we just laid in mom-mom's bed with the fan on and watched Jungle Book all afternoon. What a good day!
It's getting pretty hot again today...we might have to go jump in Grandma and Grandpa's pool!
