Does your Mom like to make cakes? Well, if the answer is yes you'd better know about this.
I found my Mom's cake decorating drawer yesterday. I had no idea this existed until I just happened to open it up on my routine exploration of the kitchen drawers. I pulled my chair over from the dining room, crawled up, and parked myself right there in front of this treasure trove.
And since I was being so quiet about it, no one noticed for a while...
This. Is. Awesome. Not awesome Mom caught me, though...
Even after Mom knew what was going on, I still got in a few more shakes of that magic container.
What?
After eating candy, this is my other favorite thing to do:
Have a great weekend!
Love,
R

More Intruders
It seems as though some strange person shows up in our house every day.
Look who came today:
Look who came today:
Some girl with pretty blond hair. Looks kinda like our cousin Carleigh...
I'm off to camp this morning, and Ry and Mom are having some time together. I hope that little girl is still around when I get home.

Weird Pictures
So, this morning Mom was going to post some pictures from our adventures yesterday. There are some shots of Jake playing baseball with his friend from the morning, some pictures of us at the playground with some other friends, even a few of our afternoon playdate with J & V.
When Mom sat down to get the pictures off of the camera, we found this strange series of photos...
Apparently Mom and Dad were not the only ones celebrating Wine Wednesday...
And here are the pictures we actually meant to share this morning. It seems as though every picture Mom took at Jacob's sports class was blurry, so there are none of those...
Me on the playground.
So proud of my find! I was really disappointed when Mom said I couldn't keep it.
Not sure how he got strong enough to be able to hang like that...
Aren't we cute when we play nicely together?
Yep, I'm big enough to crawl up this thing.
At another playground with Jake's friend and his sisters.
Jake and one of his best buddies.
Now, we need to look around this house to make sure that weird guy with the orange hat isn't still hanging out...
Love,
R

Lazy Day at Home
It seems like today is the first day in a while that we have nothing to do...so that's exactly what we're doing. I'm not sure where these last two weeks have gone...
Swimming lessons finished up last week. I did a great job and will be going back in two weeks for more.
Friday we went on an adventure with our friend Megan. We took a drive out to the desert to see a cool tower and some really neat rock carvings. It was awesome, except for the barfing in the car part.
Me and Megan checking out the view from the tippy top.
The view from the top. It was such a clear day you could see things that were very, very far away. You can actually see the salton Sea if you look closely...
See me peeking out?
Ryan in the top of the tower.
The tower.
Here we are, heading off into the park. There were all sorts of fun animals carved into the stones.
This one was Mom's favorite - a buffalo!
Ryan was a little small to climb over some of the rocks.
Making our way through a "cave." We actually ate our lunch in a cave, too!
Mom caught a moment between me and Chewy...
And this is pretty much what we're doing today. Annoying Mom every time she tries to sit down. Why in the world would she want a minute away from us?
Just look how cute and innocent we are! (And check out our new patio furniture, too, Gramma Jojo!)
A good place to spend the day...
Have a nice Monday!

J

Squirt Guns
On Wednesday, I came home to find a package addressed to ME. Mom helped me open it up, and you would not believe what I found!
Aunt Candy and Aunt Becky sent out a package with EIGHT squirt guns. And about eight pounds of candy.
Pretty much the coolest package a boy can get.
The only problem was that since it was Wednesday (which happens to be called Wine Wednesday in our house), Daddy and Darren were feeling childish as well.
"Aw man! Grown ups?!?"
Lots of boys. Lots of squirt guns.
Daddy dodging a bullet...
Ryan covered my back while I loaded up.
This guy showed up, too. I think he's Squidward's little brother or something.
We're off to swimming lessons now, and later I get to go on a hike with Darren. Summer vacation is the best.

J

Swimming, Swimming...
I started my swimming lessons yesterday! It was so much fun that I went back again today...and will go pretty much every day for the next two weeks.
Yesterday, this was the best picture Mom took. As you can see, I'm way, way far away. See that little person with a white shirt on, right in front of the blue bin? That's me.
So, today Mom brought a better lens for the camera and took some pics of my lesson.
Here we are with the teacher. His name is John and he's pretty cool. He makes us laugh. I really like his orange sunglasses.
Chatting with the cute girls...(the socializing just might be my favorite part of swimming lessons.)
Getting ready for a big jump!
He catches me every time!
Now here's a good trick I learned. I'm getting ready for it...
Back float!
I think we were hopping like bunnies here...
Getting ready for a front float...
Teacher John wraps us all up after the lesson is over.
Today, he told me I was a Jedi.
And look who came to cheer me on!
More swimming tomorrow. I told Mom that I think I'll be ready to go off of the diving board by next week.
Love,
J
