Play at the Park

On Monday mornings, we head out to an "outdoor classroom." It's not really anything like school, except that there are tons of other kids there.

Mostly, we go so that we can play with Ella and her mom.

Here are some pictures from this week.

Ryan stole my apple.

All three of us paying attention.

Me and Ella doing the Bean Bag Dance.

Recognize this face?

This was probably the highlight of my week.
And a silly one of me and Mom.

Notice how nice and cool we look...it was only 78 degrees there at the beach. By the time we got home, which is probably less than 10 miles away, it was 108 degrees. Disgusting. We all sat around in our underwear the rest of the day. Thankfully, it cooled down to about 90-something today.

It's So Cold!

Actually, it's about a million degrees here today. The thermometer already says 95. It's 9:00 in the morning.

So I figured a nice, warm hat would be appropriate. It totally goes with my naked bottom half.

Mom thought she was making this for herself, but it looks better on me!

We're headed out to the beach for a while to cool off. Have a good day!

Bananas

I have a favorite food.

I LOVE bananas.

Some days, I eat more than one. Whole bananas. I'm a pig.

Have a good day!

Bros

The bigger I get, the more fun Jake and I have together. This morning, Mom was doing something in the kitchen and kept hearing us laugh down the hall. She said this is one of her favorite sounds...

We're headed out to the park this morning. We hope you have a good day!

Holko House of Idiots

Tonight at dinner, Jake looked around at us, shook his head, and announced, "This is a house full of idiots."

Mom laughed. Hard. She thought she might have missed an opportunity to teach Jake something about things he should and shouldn't say.

She's wrong. She definitely taught him something...What she taught him was that she would laugh if he says this is a house full of idiots.

I don't think any of this is funny. Not at all.

Actually, I do. I think pretty much everything Jake does is funny.

Have a good day!

Don't Turn Your Back

Because I'm trouble.

The real trick? Smile at Mom before she can yell at you. Works every time.

Long Time, No Post

Yeah, we've been busy lately and we haven't posted much.

Since Mom hasn't taken any pictures for a while, we took a quick video this morning to share...

Have a good day!

Workin' Men

Grampa Mike is here...we've been busy!

That's it for now. Back to work. The little supervisor sitting in the high chair is a real slave driver.

School Days

The many faces of Jacob...on his first day back at school.

And one of me.

Jake didn't even cry when we left him this morning. When he got back, he told me that Room 5 was really fun. I guess it's cool to be a big boy...but for now, I'm pretty happy just hanging out, being the baby.

Hope you all had a great weekend. We started off with a delicious BBQ on Saturday, did nothing on Sunday, and then Jake and I both had fevers all day yesterday. Happy Labor Day. At least we're both feeling good today!

Candyland

Daddy and I played a game together last night. I won, both times!

Mom thought it was interesting how quickly the second game went, and how I never seemed to get any of the cards that would send me backwards (and therefore make the game take longer)...

Ryan and I both came home last night from Grandma Susan's with new jammies. Pretty cool jammies, too. Airplanes and helicopters!

Mom tried to catch this moment of me being sweet to my brother (which is getting easier to do lately, for some reason) in our jammies this morning.

You'll notice that we did not get a single picture where we were both looking at the camera, or even sitting still.  And the time that elapsed from the first shot to the last...11 seconds.
