We had a really great time on this trip. It was so much fun to spend time with Brian, Lindsay, and especially Carleigh. She and I had a really fun time playing together and I have been missing her ever since we left.

We wanted to put up one last post before we head out of town tomorrow. Here are some pictures from last night...it actually rained during the day, with thunder and lightning, too! We were rewarded with a pretty spectacular rainbow just as Daddy was getting home from work.

Play at the Park

On Monday mornings, we head out to an "outdoor classroom." It's not really anything like school, except that there are tons of other kids there.

Mostly, we go so that we can play with Ella and her mom.

This was probably the highlight of my week.

And a silly one of me and Mom.

Notice how nice and cool we look...it was only 78 degrees there at the beach. By the time we got home, which is probably less than 10 miles away, it was 108 degrees. Disgusting. We all sat around in our underwear the rest of the day. Thankfully, it cooled down to about 90-something today.

It's So Cold!

Actually, it's about a million degrees here today. The thermometer already says 95. It's 9:00 in the morning.

So I figured a nice, warm hat would be appropriate. It totally goes with my naked bottom half.

Mom thought she was making this for herself, but it looks better on me!

The bigger I get, the more fun Jake and I have together. This morning, Mom was doing something in the kitchen and kept hearing us laugh down the hall. She said this is one of her favorite sounds...
