Chillin' with Einstein

Some days, I'm just so cute..

Like yesterday, for example. I was just in a good mood all day and I kept making mom smile.

Of course, this always prompts her to take a million pictures to share. Here they are.

We call this first series "Watching Einstein," because, well, I was watching Baby Einstein videos. Have you seen these things? They are AWESOME.

This is how the big boys sit to watch shows.

"I'll just lick that juice off of my chin and I'm all clean."

My buddy Obi is never far away.

This is actually the one that started it all. I'm cute.

We're getting ready for two exciting things today. First, a very special visitor will be arriving tonight. We get Betsy for a whole week!
And then, tomorrow, we're headed to Disneyland for Jake's birthday. Pretty exciting!

Love,
R

P.S. - Uncle Mick, Jake is working hard on his new dance routine. He says he'll be ready for filming next week.

Birthday Boy

Oh wow, birthdays are fun!

In case you are wondering why I am wearing a furry hat, it's because I like it. Grandma Susan got me into my jammies and I came out of my room wearing it. Somehow it stayed on for the rest of the night.

Thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes today. I am a lucky guy.

Love,
Ryan the one year old

Early Birthday

Check out my new toy!

Gramma Jojo sent this to me for my birthday and said I could open it up right away. I didn't even have to wait!

There are so many things to play with, all in one toy! Jake likes it, too. He's been showing me how to do all of the stuff on it. Pretty cool.

So, THANK YOU Gramma Jojo! I LOVE my toy!

Love,
R (the almost one year old)

Just a Normal Wednesday

Actually these next few pictures are from Monday, but check out how OLD I look!

...and these are from this morning. Jacob and I were coloring very quietly. Somehow Mom didn't catch on to this quiet for a little while and I was able to taste those delicious things!

I thought this was all very funny. So did Jake. So did Mom.

Imagine if I have chewed on a RED one...scary baby vampire picture, huh?

And now, some random video clips...

Happy Wednesday!

R

If Fluffy Had a Brother...

...he might look something like this:

(Note from Mom: This is not some cool new photoshop effect I'm testing out in those first few  photos...I had my camera on the wrong setting and didn't notice it until Ryan was all hot and sweaty and DONE with the pictures. I did my best to make them look at least OK, but the color is funky.)

Redemption

Mom redeemed herself last night.

She was feeling really, really bad about the whole no costume thing.

So she let me eat KitKats.

Seriously, have you tried these things? I was like, "Mom, you're really gonna let me EAT this?"

OMG. These are awesome.

YOU are forgiven.

Now gimme some more!

And this guy...well, he can go right ahead with that whole trick-or-treating thing. Just bring home the loot, big brother. Bring it home to me.

Or I'll bite your head.

Life is good.

R

Big Day

Here's how the day started out...

Yup, Mom caught us. We were quiet. That was our mistake.

And then we worked up to this for the rest of the day...

See? Big day. You can even hear me cheering Ry on in the video. Now we can get into trouble even faster. We just need to remember that Mom is on to the "too quiet" thing...

Love,
J

Bananas

I have a favorite food.

I LOVE bananas.

Some days, I eat more than one. Whole bananas. I'm a pig.

Have a good day!

Holko House of Idiots

Tonight at dinner, Jake looked around at us, shook his head, and announced, "This is a house full of idiots."

Mom laughed. Hard. She thought she might have missed an opportunity to teach Jake something about things he should and shouldn't say.

She's wrong. She definitely taught him something...What she taught him was that she would laugh if he says this is a house full of idiots.

I don't think any of this is funny. Not at all.

Actually, I do. I think pretty much everything Jake does is funny.

Have a good day!

Love,
The Idiots
