We were going a little crazy this morning so Mom decided we needed a project.
We went all around the house and collected every car and truck we could find. We checked under beds, couches, cabinets, even in the car.
Check out this pile!
I wasn’t sure if they would go all the way from there to my bedroom. Mom asked me to figure out how we’d find out.
We started lining them up to see how far we could get.
Ryan helped.
Out of the room, around a few corners…
…and down the hallway we go!
We didn’t make it all the way to the end of the hall, but it was pretty close.
Ryan decided he needed to sit on the cars and try to ride the train.
Then, we counted then all up. I guessed there were 100.
Turns out that was a pretty good guess. There were 99.
And this is what it looks like when you smash a line with 99 cars in it. (This is probably what the freeway will look like here over the weekend if it rains like it’s supposed to…)
The smashing and crashing was Ryan’s favorite part.
Hope you have a great weekend!
Love,
J
