Big Boy Dinner

So...do you know what day tomorrow is? It's a pretty big day around here. Yep. It's my birthday.

Tonight we went out for a special dinner for big boys. The lady who brought us our drinks was really, really nice to me and made me feel very special. I got to open some presents, and then a guy came and set our table on fire! It was very cool...he cooked our dinner right on the table. He even made an onion choo choo train.

So...I can HOLD it and not open it? Right...

Finally opening up my presents. Thank you everyone!

"Growing" because I ate some beans.

Check this out...

I used chopsticks! The things you can do when you are three!

Watching this guy do some crazy tricks.

They made me stand up on my chair (after three years of telling me NOT to do this) and then they sang me a birthday song.

My special birthday ice cream. SO yummy!

What a party! Rumor has it, I get another little birthday party tomorrow, too! Mommy said she was going to make me a cake.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. I did!

Love,
J

Serious Business

Cartoon watching is serious business.

Er, wait...no it's not!

Love,
the almost 3 year old Jacob!

Bros

Usually I'm pretty nice to my little brother. It sure seems to make mommy happy when I am good to him, and I really like it when I can make him smile. I'm actually pretty good at making him smile at me...

Have a great weekend!

J

Mommy and Me

Today Jake is at school and it's just me and mommy home this morning. She is going to work on painting the ceiling. I am going to watch.

Have a good day!

Spoiler

I was snooping around. I found something...

I know I often take center stage on this blog page, but really Ryan doesn't do much. Here he is being his happy little self.

Have a great day!

New Friends

This weekend Grandma Susan had some new friends staying at her house. There were three boys from a traveling children's choir from Uganda. I got to play with them on Saturday and then we all got to watch them sing and dance at Grandma's church on Sunday morning. They were so nice and I am lucky to have met them.

Here I am with Grandma Susan, Denis, Edward, and Frank.

What a bunch of beautiful smiles, huh?

The Sun Did Not Shine

It was too wet to play.
So we sat in the house
All that cold, cold wet day.

And made lots of noise, chased the dogs, and sang songs.

Have a good weekend!
