Skinny Butt

Yeah, I've still got a skinny butt.

I went to the doctor this morning (to get the two shots that we skipped at my 12 month appointment) and they weighed me in on the big boy scale.

I'm up to 24 pounds, which puts me in the 35th percentile for weight.

I got measured on the big boy height-measurer thing, too. This is where I started crying a little bit. It made me nervous. But, I am 31 1/2 inches tall (with my shoes on - Mom said it's ok to count that) and in the 30th percentile for height.

I'm not discussing the shots.

Jake did make me feel better after, though. He hugged me and told me that HE got shots just last week.

Why Mom keeps taking us to this place to get shots, we're not sure...

Crafty Boys

Check out the Easter bunnies we made yesterday!

Me, Mom, AND Dad each painted a little bunny. Ryan contributed by taking a nap.

Here I am, hard at work.

Daddy was concentrating very hard, too.

He said it was a Chargers bunny, but Mom and I think it looks more like a Sabres bunny.

And of course, I had to pose with the bunnies when Mom tried to take a picture. I mean, really...what good is a picture if I'm not in it?

We're having a lovely, lazy Sunday today hanging out at home. It's a beautiful thing when we have nothing to do!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

J

Enough Already

We know it's spring.

We know rain is important and makes all of our plants grow.

We also know that too many rainy days in a row means we have to stay inside and play.

Ryan didn't seem to care that we would be stuck inside all day
.

This is how I looked when Mom said I couldn't go outside.

So, we set up our train tracks and Ryan and I actually played together nicely for most of the morning.

Now, it's time for us to snuggle up on the couch and watch a morning movie. I suppose rainy days aren't so bad after all.

J

Waaaah!

We are all going to be pouting in a little bit. Today is a sad day.

Today is the day that Gramma Jojo goes back to Buffalo. We don't like this idea at all.

We've had so much fun with her and we still have lots of pictures to share...we've just been too busy to go through them all and post them.

Here's a favorite, though!

Oh, Gramma Jojo...we love it when you are here.

Cars, Cars, Cars

If you've never lived with little boys, you might not be aware of the fact that we LOVE cars. And trucks. And tractors. Pretty much anything with wheels.

Mom was looking through a bunch of pictures of us from the last few weeks, and she noticed that there were hardly any photos in which we didn't have a car or truck in our hands.

Mom finds piles like this all over the house.

On another note, some of you may have heard the rumor that Mom calls me Stewie sometimes. This is only funny if you watch Family Guy.

I wonder what in the world would make her think I was plotting to kill her?

We're off to take some naps. We've got a very special visitor arriving this evening! Gramma Jojo is on her way!!!

Really?

Did we really not post anything all week?

Huh.

Well, perhaps this will be our last post ever, with the tsunami coming and all.

(We'll be fine, don't worry. Uncle Mick called mom this morning and shared some knowledge he learned outside of a courthouse in North Carolina. Apparently, the people of Japan have turned their backs on Jesus Christ, and thus deserved it. Barack Obama had something to do with it, too. Luckily, we have time to repent.)

Anyhow, we have nothing exciting to report. So, here's a silly picture of me.

This is how I woke Mommy up this morning...

We'll post some more stuff over the weekend. Now, off to the beach to watch for a tsunami!

(Kidding, but there are tons of people there right now, just waiting...)

R

You Belong at the Zoo

We had a family fun day today and headed to the zoo. Since we get up at the crack of dawn lately, we were sitting around at home just waiting for it to be late enough to go. We arrived just as the gates were opening.

Here are a few pictures from our adventure.

Alright, that's a lot of photos. Sorry.

We hope you had a great weekend, too!

Love,
J & R
